This is a very quick tutorial on how to allow developers to develop using the Zend Framework without having to or being able to install PDO on their servers.
I have to warn you though, this is not an official extension of the Zend Framework just yet.

I've had a lot of trouble with this tutorial in ZF0.9.1 Loads of errors when trying to use php_mysql method. And it looks as though other people have hit these issues too and nothing has been done about it.

I just made a new release which should help you a bit there Hades. This release (0.3.0) is in theory correctly working, and should be compatible with 1.0.z I also added a Mysqli driver in there. http://dev.agoraproduction.com/zend/releases/Php-0.3.0.tar.gz
